Boss: Good morning, Daniel. Welcome to your first day. We're super excited to have you today. And we've got quite a few tasks, so let's crack on.

Daniel: Thank you, Sir. I'm so excited to work today.

Boss: Excellent. I see you're fluent in Spanish, and we have a client coming in who can only speak Spanish and has very poor English. So I need you to handle the entire conversation with her, if that's okay.

Daniel: Um, yeah. That should be okay.

Boss: What's wrong, Daniel? You can speak Spanish, right?

Daniel: Well, no, no, no, I can speak a few words like ‘hola’ and and ‘me llamo Daniel’ and how do I say ‘my age is 21’? I don't know, I can't speak Spanish Sir.

Boss: But your CV says you're fluent in Spanish, Daniel. Did you lie on your CV?

Daniel: Oops. Sorry, boss. I won't make that mistake next time.
